Grange Expo at the Orangevale Summer Palooza

The Grange came to life in 1875 to promote the farm and the farm home. Organized in “The ‘Vale” in 1910, Grange has been there helping to grow the community you know today as Orangevale. Separate Divisions are listed for Junior (age 4-13 inclusive), Youth (14-20) and Adult (21+) Exhibitors. Unless otherwise stated, the entrant's age is based on the participant's age at 01/01/2025. Each Exhibitor is responsible for selecting the appropriate Division for entry, Sections are assigned by age.
Pre-registration of entries is required to maintain a smooth check-in process for all involved.
All entries must be the original work or product of the exhibitor and completed during the contest year.
The decisions of the judges are recorded on the judging sheets are final. To encourage high standards, the judges shall place exhibits based on merit. Judges may withhold placings as they see fit. Best of Show awards will be awarded to superior exhibits at the judge’s discretion.
Entry fee is $10 per item.
Exhibitors and advisors need to be familiar with the rules for these contests. SPECIAL FOR 2025
Theme Project: Any exhibits entered featuring AGRICULTURE, FARM, OR GARDEN will compete for special awards. Please include the word GRANGE in your item description on your entry form. Item entry forms will be emailed after registration is received.
Entries Close: Monday, May 5, 2025, 11:59 pm (Pacific time) $10/person
Exhibit Receiving will be Wednesday, May 7 & Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Orangevale Grange House.
Exhibits Public Viewing at Orangevale Grange Community Breakfast May 11, 2025, 8-10:30 am
Exhibits & Awards will be displayed at Orangevale Summer Palooza on June 8th, 2025 from 2-6 pm.
